‘You Servants of God’ is a Hymn originally penned by Charles Wesley over 200 years ago, but with a new upbeat melody.

The lyrics were written in a time of particular turmoil for Charles Wesley and the newly formed Methodist Movement and was the first hymn for a hymnal entitled, ‘Hymns for Times of Trouble and Persecution’, published in 1744.

This new rendition is an uplifting cry to stand fast and preach the gospel and speak the truth in love, all with knowledge of the sure hope Christians Have in Christ.

You servants of God, your master proclaim.
And publish abroad, His wonderful name.
The name victorious, of Jesus extol.
Kingdom glorious, and rules over all.

Father God, hallowed be your name.
And glory to the Son.
With garments white, Jesus clothes our shame.
Praise who God is, what He's done.

God ruling on high, almighty to save.
And still He is nigh, His presence He gave.
Great congregation, His triumphs shall sing.
Ascribe salvation to Jesus our King.
